De Agostini Group has received the national award "Volontari@work" at the Chamber of Deputies. The award was promoted by Fondazione Terzjus within the scope of the Observatory on third sector law, social enterprise, and philanthropy.
The award was granted on the basis of commitment shown to local communities and the contribution made by all employees of the Group's affiliates who participated in the first edition of the Global Giving Month corporate volunteering project, carried out with the support of Fondazione De Agostini. This initiative involved 11 non-profit organizations in Milan, Novara, and Rome, allowing the De Agostini Group to volunteer over 2400 hours of work. The "Volontari@work" National Award, conceived by Fondazione Terzjus, highlights the synergies between the business world and the social sector; giving space, visibility, and recognition to good corporate volunteering practices capable of generating value for employees, non-profit organizations, and communities.
