With a 950 million euro transaction, IGT sold 100% of Lottomatica Videolot Rete and Lottomatica Scommesse, the Italian gaming and sports betting businesses, to Gamenet Group. The transaction allows IGT to capitalize more than positively the investments made in the past and to strengthen the financial flexibility of the Group by using the proceeds of the transaction to reduce the debt.
