“1+1=3 INSIEME PER UN PROGETTO SOCIALE" is a joint initiative of social responsibility and solidarity designed to link Fondazione De Agostini, Group companies, and their employees - three pivotal players unified for a shared objective, the support of Third Sector entities. In this second edition, employees across all the Group's Italian companies were involved, enabling them to propose a project to Fondazione De Agostini promoted by a Third Sector entity in the area of job placement for vulnerable individuals, for selection and support in its implementation.
The winners were chosen through an online poll open to all employees, leading to the identification of the following projects: “Dall’Orto dei Sensi alla cucina del Gusto” by the Gerico Social Cooperative (Novara), “Gerla 2.0 Inserimenti lavorativi e abilità sociali tramite azioni di agricoltura sociale” by Associazione Passi e Crinali (Rho, Milan), and “Al lavoro per i diritti!” by Associazione Avvocato di Strada ODV (Bologna).
The budget to support the implementation of these projects was provided by the Group companies and doubled by Fondazione De Agostini. Moreover, all the associations that made it to the shortlist were given the chance to partake in a free fundraising training course by Rete del Dono.
